This is one of the better Persian restaurants in the area. You go to a Persian restaurant to have kabob and all their kabobs are tasty. The service is ok. The cork fee for wine is $20 which is high for the area. Most other restaurants charge $10. You usually go to a Persian restaurant mainly to eat Persian food and not to spend your evening in the restaurant.

We have been to this place a few times. The food is generally good. Shalizaar is one of the best Persian restaurants in the Bay area. The service is ok but not consistent which is typical for Persian restaurants. I think it depends to how crowded they get and who is serving you.
